Who is a good female ballad/sad song singer or a band with a lead female.?

Looking for a band with a female singer or a female singer in general
(Or male solo singer) who uses predominantly the piano (I don't really
like guitar or rock). Maybe something that sounds slightly darker, not
gothic but shades of danny elfman or gothic perhaps.
I like more depressing songs, or songs that start out slow and become
uplifting ones.
I LOVE the song by Evanesence called Hello.
But not a fan of their other music except for a couple exclusive piano
ones. Just not a fan of guitars.
I also love songs by Alicia Keys as well, usually the slower ones
